General Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Zouk Unity Dance Live classes. Before you put on your dancing shoes and start having fun… we need you to read some important information, so we are all clear about how things work at Zouk Unity Dance School.

This agreement is between Zouk Unity and anyone who subscribes, buys, enrols or attends any of Zouk Unity’s Services. By subscribing, buying, enrolling or attending any of Zouk Unity services you agree with the terms and conditions below.

Health and risk assessment

We want to keep dance fun and as a part of that we have to keep you safe. Zouk Unity takes all reasonable care in the conduct of the classes and activities it runs and supports. Zouk Unity classes are run in professional settings by professional instructors.

Please advise your teacher prior to class if you have any injuries or health issues so they can suggest alternative activities if necessary. As a student completing classes with Zouk Unity, you acknowledge that you take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing at all times whilst attending classes run by Zouk Unity. In attending our classes, we trust that you are in good health condition and that you know fo no medical or other reason why you cannot or should not execute active or passive exercises. Our staff and contractors are not medically trained or qualified to assess if you are in good physical condition to exercise without risking your health, safety or comfort. If you have any doubts, we strongly urge you to seek expert advice before starting classes with us.

Zouk Unity accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during any of its classes. Dancers, students and participants attending these activities are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit for the practice undertaken and must at all times take care of their own personal safety.

Fees & Payments

Payment can be made via online payments available on our website. Drop in payments are still accepted but not encouraged as it slows down the registration process in class.
All bookings and ticket purchases are non-transferable and may not be sold or transferred by you.

Unable to attend a class

Our regular package classes are offered at a reasonable rate to encourage and ensure a good learning experience for attending students at Zouk Unity Dance School. However we do understand that 'life happens', so if you do miss any of the regular classes under a package offer, we can offer the following credit structure. If you can’t attend for any reason you must advise us via email ZoukUnitySydney@gmail.com prior to that class. What we offer is a flat and maximum of $15 off if you missed any one or more classes of your package, if and when you enrol for the immediate next term of package classes. This is a maximum of $15 off no matter how many classes you have missed during the term, but you must have missed at least one class.

Only if emailed prior to your absence that you will be eligible for this discount to be applied to your next package of classes. This will be provided to you via a discount code. You must use this credit in the following term, if you do not use the credit for the following term, this credit will be forfeited.

For all regular classes and for all special events such as but not limited to; international artist weekenders or workshops, there is a NO REFUND AND NO EXCHANGE POLICY ON ANY TICKETS purchased, including no refund of service fees. Our events are all weather events. There will be no refund on missed classes. We may negotiate a partial or full refund only in extenuating circumstances made by the judgement of our directors at Zouk Unity. There is also a NO TRANSFER policy on ANY CLASS OR EVENT TICKETS. If you cannot attend an event, email us as soon as possible to explain your situation, and we will endeavor to find (but cannot guarantee) a solution for you.

Photography, Video & Digital Recording

Whilst attending classes, parties and events organised by Zouk Unity, you consent to Zouk Unity taking photographs and videos. Zouk Unity reserves the right to use photographs and videos in any medium, including the website, social media, brochures or for other marketing purposes.

The privacy of your personal information is very important to Zouk Unity . We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. We will take special care to protect the privacy and security of your information.
